We pre-ordered 72 portions of mainly fish and chips, with a few veggie burgers and chips, for a dual celebration of my wife's 70th birthday and our anniversary. The order arrived on time, the food was hot and tasty, and enjoyed by our friends and family. The food made the event unique, with several people asking where the shop was so they could visit for their own fish suppers in the future. I can't say anything more than thank you to all the staff at Fridays for making our event so special.
This restaurant is a perfect spot for a sit-down lunch on that side of town while on our way to Highwoods. We were impressed by the staff member's suggestion for the lunch deal, as the portion of fish was just right for both my husband and me. The crispy batter, flaky moist cod, and great chips were all excellent. The staff member mentioned that they plan to get wooden cutlery from a different supplier in the future, which they believe will make the overall experience Practically Perfect.
I was in the area last week with friends and came in to get some food I was disgusted with the Essex chavette u have working there her language was disgusting and health and safety she should not be wearing jewellery working with food that is a health and safety hazard also she would not listen to anyone when asked to do something but the other young lady there was so polite I think you need to get rid of the chavette or you are going to lose customers
Superb !!! I travel all over uk I know a good chippy. Fridays is I must say one of the best, fresh white cod, light not too thick batter, cooked too perfection checked regularly whilst it’s cooked), thick crispy chips not soggy or oily. The staff are friendly and polite and always helpful. In all I would highly recommend this chippy. Réservez une table maintenant
Great cod and chips. My girlfriend and I have been looking for a proper chippy after being let down by delivery apps all too often. This place really hit the spot. Reminded me of the chippys in the old days
The food is consistently amazing, the staff are lovely, and the portions are generous and always piping hot. I always choose to eat here and would never go anywhere else for my chip shop fix.
Great service. Delivered to my home as live just up the road and I requested order for 10 people. Food very hot. Cooked extremely well. Use regularly. Would recommend for any occasion
