This place used to be one of the best Chinese buffets in Plainfield but each time I visit I am more disappointed. The food just isn't great anymore. The sushi is horrible and I'm not quite sure what's wrong with their Wasabi but it's like a tealish color and taste weird. Buckets of meat laying around behind the sushi counter didn't look sanitary. The servers were great though and always make sure your drinks are full and tables cleared of plates. Hopefully they get their spunk back.
My boys and I drive and hour and a half to go to this buffet. We love buffet style restaurants and this is by far one of the best places to get stuffed. The food is always fresh when we have visited and the service is great at keeping the tables clear.I have never had a complaint from one of them because there is so much variety to pick from everyone leaves full even the pickyeaters. They have everything you could want and more out of a buffet including sushi and hibachi.
I had a very disappointing experience at Fu Yuan Hibachi Buffet. The buffet spoons were dirty, probably because of unsupervised kids running around. The bathroom was in poor condition, with cardboard used to patch areas since the urinals were out of order, and the soap was watered down. The food arrived cold and tough. I can't believe I paid $15 per plate for such a crowded, unclean environment and low-quality food. I was so appalled that I couldn’t even finish my meal.
Fu Yuan Hibachi Buffet offers an impressive dining experience. While it may not be my top favorite, it certainly ranks highly. The hibachi was the standout, and the sushi was of excellent quality, although the menu could have been more inventive—essentially featuring just two rolls prepared in five different ways. I especially enjoyed the honey chicken and mei fun, both of which were exceptional. They also provided a great variety of desserts to round out the meal. Réservez une table maintenant
Fu Yuan Hibachi Buffet is by far the best Chinese restaurant in Indiana! It’s the only place in the state worth visiting for authentic Chinese cuisine. They also provide takeout options! The buffet is always spotless, and the staff are friendly and hardworking. I truly love this spot! Their chow mein and lo mein are outstanding. If you’re craving Chinese food, this is unquestionably the place to go!
Seriously the best Chinese food in ALL of Indiana! Literally the only Chinese food place worth eating at in Indiana! They even do take out! The buffet is clean, and the staff is really kind and always working hard! I love this place! The chow mein/lo meinis incredible! If you want Chinese food this is the place to go! Hands down!
Food was very good for a buffet. Not my favorite by any means, but this place is really good. Hibachi is where its at, the sushi was amazing quality, but lacked imagination. Basically had 2 rolls done 5 different ways. The honey chicken and mei fun wasamazing. They also have a pretty good selection of desserts
Delicious food, everything at the right temperature, and plenty of options to choose from. Restaurant was clean, bathrooms were well maintained, and the waitresses make sure the tables continue to stay cleaned off and you have a fresh drink. Was all in alla good experience.
