We always visit this restaurant when we are staying anywhere in the north of Fuerteventura. It has had efficient service with friendly staff but unfortunately standards have slipped considerably. I visited this restaurant twice recently and the first occasion was slightly disappointing given our high opinion of the restaurant with the most recent visit even worse, sadly. On both occasions it is clear that there are nowhere near enough staff, but also that they simply do not think about the needs of their customers. Having visited many good bars in Lajares with great experiences, this one was on our list to try as it looked very inviting. We arrived 9pm and couldn’t see any staff so took a table inside because it was chilly. The waitress then came over and told us go outside, which wasn’t a problem in this current Covid climate. Having taken a seat outside, the waitress promptly came over and asked what we wanted, to which I replied a menu please. The waitress then bluntly replied “kitchen is closed” which again wasn’t a problem as we were happy to have a drink. We stopped in recently to recharge after hiking the nearby volcanoes. Drinks are very affordably priced, meals are equally reasonable. Our entire family enjoyed our meals, which were clearly homemade and bursting with great flavor The day we were there, the weather was spectacular, and sitting outside was a real treat. The restaurant is cash only, so be sure to have your euros ready! We didn't know this, but the owners were kind enough to let one of the staff quickly drive me to the nearest cash point! (This was such a nice gesture! FIve stars for Fuerta Vida. It really captures the friendly, laid-back style of the Canaries!
Bad service doesn't even describe the experience we had. After we've ordered our drinks we already waited half an hour to be able to order food. They brought meat burger instead of veggy and instead of three only two. In the end about 2,5hs later) we got what we ordered but they didn't even apllogise for their mistakes or offered any compromise. Don't go there if you're hungry :

Live music on the night we went. Food looked good but we didn’t eat. Sampled the Mojitos which were good and potent. Dad returned for a few beers early evening and they couldn’t be more helpful. He was on his electric scooter 84 years young! Definitely a bit different with a laid back vibe. One to try if you are in the area. Check opening times if not summer .
This restaurant was recommended by CamelRidesLahare opposite, and we were glad we tried it. We had a delicious family meal out. The food was freshly cooked and very filling. Our children enjoyed their first taste of authentic Empanadas. Staff were friendly and the music was great.
Stopped there for a drink, got the first one in a reasonable time. Waited more than 15 minutes to be served again, no one showed up, went into the bar, ordered there, waited again more than 15 minutes, went into the bar again, paid and left.
A great menu which we went to on an eBike ride, so a welcome stop along the way. We had some empanadas, quesadillas and nacho salad- the latter was the best, by far! The do beer in frozen glasses, which was welcome to us!!

A lovely place for burger lovers with a unique atmosphere. Genuinely surprised on the handmade chips which tastes amazing. Staff is kind and helpful.
Food was not so good,as they said.friendly waters but not that fast service but it’s ok if your hungry and there is now we’re to go
