Have been ordering here for a long time. Prior to COVID you used to be able to get great sushi at great price that I would go out of my way to order from. During COVID the price understandably shot up so it was great sushi at an ok price. Not sure what's been happening recently but the quality of food has really gone down hill. I've had more than a few orders where the fish was noticably off, and speaking generally the rolls just don't taste remotely as good as they used to. Again don't know what's changed but it's been noticed by multiple friends that dined independently of me. Now it's mediocre sushi and just not worth coming back. The food is fantastic! My favorite sushi is the Godzilla roll, and I LOVE the Udon. The place is quiet and peaceful, and the food wait is almost nothing! Meaning you get your food quickly, and it's nice and hot!Parking: The restaurant is located in the Publix plaza on Toledo Blade Blvd, North Port, FL on the right of the Publix if you're are facing the building's face.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp near the restaurant to get into the restaurant and there are booths and tables where a wheelchair can sit at.
Good food but bad customer service, especially on large orders.Anytime we order food for a large number of people, they miss places food, forgets the order or provide incomplete order.Also, somehow, it seems like they are trying to save in containers and mixes up sushi rolls in one container. It gets awkward and unsanitary when two different people at office ordered sushi and they pack in one container.Suggestion to owner: please use separate container for each sushi rolls unless someone wants it together.
Dont order through there website at all. I ordered my meal at 620 and got here at 710 with no order. They said some lady called using my phone number and canceled my order when i was the only one who ordered my food. But yet proceed to tell me i some woman called and canceled my order through the venice location when i have all the receipts from the north port location then. No one knows what's going on or what they are doing. Very rude. I always ate here when the first opened up. Never again. Réservez une table maintenant
We order takeout from here. The service is quick and friendly. The restaurant has a small deli-style seating area if you choose to dine in. We've tried the sushi, California rolls, tempura, miso soup, and seaweed salad, and we enjoyed everything. Overall, I would rate the food 4 out of 5.
The veggie bowl i got was packed with perfectly cooked veggies and delicious rice.Keep up the great service and clean food. We enjoy it so much. Everyone else's food in this area makes my ankles blow up like a balloons. Your food doesn't. This speaks volumes. Thank you thank you!
Food gets nastier and nastier, rice taste like garbage they never give you enough sauce and they basically always mess up your order, finn sushi is getting better compared to what they now serve here, go to masaki honestly better. Literally threw $30 of food away bc it was trash
