The seating was very cramped; we were lucky to be together as a family since there was hardly any personal space. The hibachi show was the standard affair: a flashy big fire intro, the onion volcano, tossing veggies into people’s mouths, slicing up the meats, and some creative plating. The experience is likely a big reason for the high prices, but while the food was well-seasoned, juicy, and decently portioned, it didn’t offer anything extraordinary that made me think, “This is why I love it cooked fresh!” It was just average, though the show might justify the cost for some. From the moment I was seated until our waitress abruptly handed out to-go packages and the bill right after the cook left our table, I encountered a bad attitude. First, she neglected to bring everyone's appetizers, and when we inquired about them, she brought them over and slammed them down on the table. The family next to us requested refills for their children's drinks, and she returned with their cups, slamming those down as well. With rising inflation and living costs, I believe it's important for customers to feel they can enjoy a meal without being surprised by extra charges. I work hard for my money and want to support businesses without feeling nickel-and-dimed. We, as consumers, are making the choice to dine with you, and I believe it's crucial to pay your employees fair wages rather than relying on hidden fees to cover costs. It would be more transparent and appreciated if the menus were updated to reflect the new pricing; that way, customers like me would be aware of the 18% gratuity and would be more accepting of the prices.
As usual, there was a bit of a wait to get seated at the hibachi grill, but the waiter was friendly, even if the service was somewhat straightforward. The chef who cooked for us was entertaining, injecting humor into the experience and even adjusting his routine to engage the kids and celebrate the birthday girl at our table. I ordered the filet mignon and shrimp with fried rice. The meal also includes noodles, but I could have skipped those. I do wish the meal still came with a salad, as that was an additional cost. Typical hibachi restaurant. You?re basically paying to see the show. The food is overpriced even without the show. The plate I got was $36?the chicken was tough, I couldn?t eat them all. The noodles were bland and lukewarm. The only good thing on the plate were the shrimp, they were good size and weren?t over cooked. Personally, I wouldn?t go back.
A birthday dinner for two people. Very nice ambience. The food was very good. The chefs were sitting at your table Hibachi. The bathrooms were very clean and beautiful. Many free parking, as it was in a shopping mall. Many different shops around the actual restaurant. A Wegman's food is also in the shopping center as well as an AMC Filmtheater 12.
The hibachi was absolutely delicious. The wait staff and chef were both friendly and attentive. You get a generous portion of food for the price. We shared a table with two other parties, which made it enjoyable to watch the chef prepare everyone's meals. The restaurant has a dimly lit atmosphere, but it is clean and nicely decorated.
We went with our grandchildren. It was an amazing success. The children love the performance of the cook. The food was wonderful and plentiful.
