I will start this as a massive health and safety, and food safety concern. Someone was sick in the restart, the staff member and manager were cleaning the sick up with no PPE no signs nothing the sick (which is a biohazard) went all over the floor and up the stand where the food was. None of the food was thrown away, and because of no sign or commutation between the staff and the customers, some stood in the puke that was on the floor. There was no offering for cleaning products for this person, and they were not offered a refund or anything apart from deserts for the trouble. In terms of the food, the only downside was that the prawn crackers lacked flavor. However, compared to other buffet restaurants, the quality of the food was very good. I enjoyed Cantonese chicken, honey ribs, and pork beef dishes, all of which were flavorful and well-seasoned without being greasy like some other places.
For dessert, there was a soft serve ice cream machine (which was tasty), sponge cake, and some fruit. While the dessert selection was not extensive, I wouldn't choose an Oriental restaurant for its desserts anyway.
I visited this restaurant today. It is usually good, but I was disappointed to find that there was not a wide selection of food options like there usually is. The desserts were basic. I have always liked this place, but I feel that the quality of the food has decreased. It is a shame because I used to be a regular customer. They need to improve the variety of foods they offer and make sure that they replenish the food when it runs low.
Used to be a good place....when owners changed i left disappointed same as my friends. I went to try evening menu but its really not worth it. All you get just prawns and they not tasty.no solt no garlic no chilli...food is not best one. Never will go again. Hygiene rating is 3 there. Really??

I went out to dinner with friends and it was not worth it. There were not many options available for the meal or dessert, and there were no labels on the desserts so we weren't sure what they were. Additionally, there were no obvious dairy-free cake options.
Food was bit bland, not many dishes besides rice, noodles, starter/sides, best thing was the crispy duck pancakes tho. Would have like to see more main un- battered dishes, ie chop suey, chicken in lemon, but was good for price, speed and eating in.
Lovely place to go I would say if your looking to book for a table it's abit of a nightmare they don't answer the phone and the Web site is a nightmare but saying that the food is lovely the staff are very nice
Worst place to eat in bury st edmunds. This is a buffet and I had one plate and that was too much. Shocking, cheers max.

Had a lovely buffet lunch 1st visit in around 6yrs . Still high standard, lots of choice and great value.
Came for lunch it was tasty, clean and good value for money. We will be returning!
