A place is never complete if there is not an Irish pub in the vicinity And this is not least with Schwenningen. The place is great with fantastic food at very affordable prices. Menu is varied and above all includes a kids menu. Good selection...of beer including some Irish beer (expected) altough list could be improved. Good selection of regional beer altough like all the pubs and restaurants in the region, the menu could include more German beers from other regions. Has also a very good selection of whiskeys. Staff speaks excellent English but would not expect less from an Irish pub even one outside Ireland. Staff is also very helpful. You can eat outside (garden entrance) or inside where...
The Irish Pub in Villingen and their sister pub in Schwenningen are two excellent places for a family lunch or a drink and snacks with friends. Try a pint of cider in the lovely shaped glasses or enjoy the huge range of whisky, or indulge...yourself with food from their wide ranging menu. Food is tasty and meals are filling, staff are friendly and prices are fair; for bigger groups you must book ahead and be prepared to book months ahead, queue or be turned away at Fastnacht or Saint Patrick’s day (17th March). Very laid back ambience, busy and loud and lots of fun. Enjoy the great craic! And finally you can get a proper pint of Guinness, Kilkenny or Stonefords cider, so what are you waiting...
When you enter the pub, the first thing you notice is the woody ambient, that makes you feel very welcome. Pub has a great offer of meals and drinks so you will probably find something you like. It was four of us and we ate...different types of burgers that tasted great! In one meal you get burger, chips, dip and salad with dressing. The combination of all flavours was delightful. Staff was also very nice and friendly so in conclusion I highly recommend this place!
this is more a pub then a restaurant, although the menu offers a large selection of different species, burgers, salates, huh, fish and meat. Cream soup as an appetizer was very tasteful. the cordon blue I order was dry and the Gorgonzola cheese: could not. find it. jumped desert. beer and whiskeys (115 different) compensated for the experience.

This is one of the best Pubs I have ever been. You can choose from a big variety of dishes for cheap prices. The service is fast and friendly. We needed to book in advance and had the luck to get the last available seats....The decoration makes you feel like you are in Ireland. Can't wait to come back next year.
This is probably the best pub in Villingen, whether you want to grab a bite or just go out for some drinks. The staff is always friendly and the service is usually quick. It can get crowded during the evenings, it would be best to...make a reservation if you are a larger group.
schnitzel, pommes frites and salat is a standard. pretty cheap, but quite easy to cook. nothing special. they also have finger food on the menu and burger. the restaurant is dark and uninspired. but they show football and serve different beers. if you like it. good choice
It looks a bit of a mixture between an Irish pub and a German pub. It has everything you need for a fun night out with friends. The food and the drinks are great!

over cooked baked potato with over cooked vegetables. service was nice, but certainly not eating! a canton can do better. the beer is okay.
Es war wirklich sehr gut. Die Bediehnungen waren sehr nett. Das Essen war sehr lecker und schnell da. Gerne das nächste mal wieder.
