Visited quite a few times over the last few months... food has been hot and delicious each and every time. Was not disappointed even when visiting during busy Sunday period (recommend booking a table for peak busy periods) service was brilliant and staff are wonderful! There does however appear to be a downturn this week in some aspects which is why 4 stars instead of 5- they now only serve hot drinks in standard/regular mugs even if paying for the large/deluxe which means you're getting much much less for your money. Which is a shame because this is technically ripping people off... and the deluxe hot chocolate was a favourite but I'm not spending 60p for a squirt of cream and 1 marshmallow...
The hungry horse pub friendly staff, good coffee and nice location. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is pub grub style and they do large portions (from past experience and seeing others eating) The only reason it was 4 stars was because it was early morning so no one around to create atmosphere, nice a quiet though, the food was just coffee on this occasion so difficult to rank and service was actually 5* so I have amended from previous 4*. Friendly prompt and helpful
I absolutely adore this restaurant, both the interior and exterior are lovely. The food is fantastic and the outdoor walks are amazing, with plenty of geese, swans, and ducks to admire. However, I have noticed that there never seems to be enough staff on duty during my visits, and the atmosphere is lacking as it is mostly just people talking. The price per person ranges from £20 to £30 and I would rate the food a 5 out of 5.
Meal was very good . Polite staff only marked four star because cutlery was open in pot on table dint look all that clean . Would of expected cutlery to have been wrapped in napkin or tissue. Parking: Take car reg with you going for meal . Price per person: £60–70 Food: 5
