We brought our family of nine to this restaurant, and several of them were trying sushi for the first time. The waitress was incredibly friendly, and the chef went above and beyond by giving us double portions with our initial order. They even provided us with extra Miso Soup. Since we all enjoyed the Crazy California rolls, we decided to order two more, and once again, the chef surprised us with double the amount we requested! I heard about this place from one of my friends who is a sushi lover. Now this is my favorite place, and I absolutely recommend this if you want to eat authentic sushi. The owner knows what sushi is. He is so professional and never disappointed me. All the sushi and sashimi are so fresh and yummy. I ordered special ones for my family and kids, and they made wonderful plates. I recommend special from the owner and the owner's special sauce with salmon. Nestled in a quaint shopping mall, there's an exceptional restaurant that boasts high-quality sushi and sashimi at great prices. The selection is impressive, and the service is spot on—attentive yet unobtrusive. During our visit, we were able to walk right in, but keep in mind that the indoor seating is limited, which is common for many excellent sushi spots. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was stunning. If you haven't had the chance to go yet, make it a priority. You don't want to miss this hidden gem!
Really not sure how this place got so many positive reviews unless I had it on an off day. The sashimi was really not good…cuts were sloppy and too thin, for some reason most of it was way too chewy (either the pieces of fish were bad or the chef possibly cut it against the grain), and the tuna pretty much disintegrated in the chopsticks as if it had just come out of the freezer.I could barely eat some of it with how chewy it was

We were seated and attended to right away. We ordered two specials, which included six rolls for a total of $80—a great deal. The sushi quality was outstanding, and the presentation was top-notch. It’s clear that the staff puts extra care into how they present the dishes. I would definitely recommend this place for a casual date night or whenever you're craving good sushi.
Great place with incredibly attentive, enthusiastic, and diligent staff. Reasonably priced for good and tasty food in a nice area on Newport Beach. I have visited three times so far, and not a single roll has let me down. The Lady in Red is fantastic if you enjoy crispy onions, and the avocado bomb is perfect for sharing. I will definitely be returning! Food: 5/5
I had dine here a couple of times with friends and family, and this place is great. The food here was amazing, and the service was incredible. I would 100 percent going here.

Great Sushi rolls. Their spicy tuna rolls are hands down some of the best I’ve had. I will be coming back!
