we had a room on the gablonzer hut (two bunk beds, but only two people.) this room was very spacious and well equipped for a mountain hut (regal, dressing hook, table, outlets).Positively surprised we were of flowing warm water in the washroom, the warm shower costs extra.The breakfast was excellent and versatile.Also eating in the beautiful, rustic. we recommend the spinatknödel and the kasnocken, which were very excellent!Besides the good equipment and the good food you also have to mention the service: here just fits everything, the atmosphere also the gablonzer hütte lives also by the friendly, helpful staff.
this hut of the Austrian Alpine Association is especially two huts: in winter a ski hut (which is often full; nevertheless the service can be very fast) and my guess is the best in the ski area dachstein west. in the summer an ideal hiking and climbing base (donnerkogel, too foot, climbing by climbing climb or even classical alpin). This two-way may sound funny, but winter and summer guests are also very different. And all year round, of course, also as alpine cottages.There are changing specialities in the day, but my absolute favourite are spinatnockerln.
we spent a night with friends (6 adult 6 children) on the gablonzer hut. have been in the 12s camp. the beds were really in order, the washrooms clean. the pasture was excellent! breakfast in buffet form, dinner consists of a main course and dessert. at 16 o'clock there is additionally a skier jause (soup.) the prices are not overpriced and the quality of the food really top! also the pists were very good, unfortunately it rained on the 2nd day!
My wife and I had lunch here on a rainy day in mid-June. The Hut is warm and inviting and the staff and guests were all friendly. It is mostly frequented by locals or Austrians on a hiking day or trip. We got there via the gondola but others had obviously been hiking in the hills. The meaty soup we both had was delicious and quite filling, well worth 8 Euros. Réservez une table maintenant
Nice mountain house restaurant. We slept in a family room with bunk beds, small, but okay, bedding sodas, using your own sheet bags. Good breakfast with little sandwiches, yogurt and squat. And for lunch, I was able to get a little smear, barely cost anything. Hot shower for free, solar cells are on the terrace. Face magnificent.
