Gaetano's is undoubtedly among the top five spots for cheesesteaks in the Philadelphia area. They serve high-quality steak and rolls, and the portions are generous, with prices comparable to other local joints. While the interior could benefit from some updates to improve the dining experience, it remains quite acceptable. The staff is generally professional, although one female employee could be a bit friendlier; I've had a few less-than-great interactions with her. Overall, I highly recommend Gaetano's for authentic Philly cheesesteaks—it surpasses many other steak shops in the city!

I had a wonderful experience! For lunch, I ordered two cheesesteak trays and two pizzas for delivery. The food was amazing and there was more than enough! The cheesesteaks, both chicken and beef, were filled with meat and not too greasy. The sesame seed rolls were tasty as well. They also provided two bottles of ketchup, a generous serving of fried onions and hot peppers on the side, along with plates. The staff member I spoke to when placing my order was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be using this place again for catering! Thank you!

I ordered an Italian sub with extra mayo and extra oil, but no vinegar. When it arrived and I opened it, I was disappointed to find no mayo, no oil, and no vinegar—just a dry sandwich. This experience is exactly why I haven't ordered takeout since COVID. I really don't understand what’s happening. It seems like even when you order in person, things still get messed up. Here's a tip: if they ask for your order twice, it's probably best to hang up and call back.

I'm originally from Philadelphia, but I've been hearing a lot of hype about the steaks at this restaurant. I decided to give it a try, and to be honest, they were just average at best. I don't think they live up to the price. I ordered the 17-inch steak, and the meat barely filled the roll. They might as well trim the edges off the roll since it doesn't get filled properly. I ordered five steaks for my coworkers, and they were all fresh, delicious, and generously sized. The only downside was that there weren't enough sauces provided, and a few toppings were missing. However, it was a wonderful overall experience! I will definitely return because the food was fantastic!

I was quite disappointed during my recent visit. I chose this local restaurant because it had been a while since I last enjoyed their pizza. Unfortunately, the dough was undercooked and there was barely any sauce. I'm giving it 2 stars because I know this isn't reflective of their usual quality.

The pizza was incredible, the cheesesteaks were outstanding, and the ambiance was delightful! Everything was unbelievably tasty, and there was so much to relish. I enjoyed every single bite! I will absolutely recommend this restaurant and I intend to return soon!
