Gallaghers Pub Barbers

If you are interested in military memorabilia this is the place for you. All the walls are covered in framed pictures, caps, uniforms, drums and models. You could spend hours reading through it all. Good range of real ales and beers. Had a quick look at the menu but I have not tried the food yet. Will have to come back and try it. Update, I came back and tried the food. My compliments to the chef. I had the sweet chilli chicken and cheese panini. Could have eaten another one. Excellent value for money.

possibly the best traditional real ale pub in birkenhead if not merseyside. the facilities are not as good as the staff that works there. the selection of the beer is always top notch. the parking lot is however a problem, although the parking behind the hamilton square station at £3 the whole day is only five minutes to walk away and it is monitored.

a really interesting pub with many contestants memrobelia, friendly staff and customers. there is a large astro-turfed beer garden at the back, with a covered smoking area behind it. worth visiting, we call each time we go to the swinging poor pub for a Sunday afternoon of bands.

beloved, friendly staff and the pub was full of military memories, we came from birmingham to watch the Tranmere game and came here to ask a taxi on the floor,wish we could have stayed longer than they only sold my favorites behind the bar....Bumbu x Réservez une table maintenant

Great pub , great atmosphere and lovely staff . Best Guinness in the North West .. gorgeous pizzas . Handy for Hamilton Square station, and the ferry over to Liverpool . Highly recommend this pub .

Fabulous traditional pub full of quirky objects. You could easily spend a day just looking round the place. Did not have any food but what I saw others having looked pretty good.
