Galle Road - Réservation de table

Waited 40 minutes for a biriyani and a nasi goreng at lunch time on a Saturday. When the restaurant is less than 25% packed you expect a better service. By the time the food arrived I had lost my appetite. Each time we questioned where the food was we were told 'its coming now - 2 minutes' (my husband stopped me from asking the waitress if her time piece was defunct) - while I have friends and other family that enjoy a regular meal at this restaurant I have anxiety around returning and havent done so since my bad experience.

Please do not ever step in to this restaurant .we had to wait for two hr to get our first hopper!!I was so embraced because my guests were hungry and I had to go to MKS and get some food for them.manager was so rude and he thinks he was doing a favor to his customer by giving some most unappetizing food in entire Victoria.this idiot manager should first learn basic of customer service and he is doing a lot damage to image of other srilankan restaurants.If you want good srilankan food do not sight this place !!!

This place was great when it first started, boasting really delicious curries and even live music on Friday or Saturday nights (I can't recall which). The daytime menu then- rather dismally - started to die off, leaving behind a range of disappointing bain-marie dishes. The food was tasty once and is now not very competitive in terms of Dandenong's general offering of Indian/Sri Lankan food.It should pick up its game as the location and setup are otherwise good.I may try it again to see how it goes.

This place was really good when it opened with some good service and great food. I was overseas for one year and was shocked at the state of Galle Road now. The service is pathetic. They always open late and when they open, they have no food ready. Why bother opening. Then come the horrible food. It has no taste and smells like something re heated and served. Never going there again and have told my friends and family to avoid this place. A good place gone horribly bad. What a shame. Réservez une table maintenant

We had a buffet breakfast here with family to celebrate a birthday. The food was good quality and I liked the ambience and spaciousness in the place. If you have had breakfast at a hotel then you will find this similar. I expected a small pokey place this being Dandenong city but the management have done a good job with the layout.I had read a few negative reviews on urbanspoon, but my experience was quite the opposite. I would definitely visit again.

Don't even consider going to this place, they were ok few years back, but their standard and quality has gone down so bad. If you go in for their buffets, you will find empty serving dishes most of the time. They don't care at all. Their food tastes kind of old, they seem to be reheating and serving the left overs from the previous day. Try it avoid this place. Its just so bad.

Please stay away from this place. This is NOT the true reflection if SL food. Owner is a rude arrogant person who threatened to call police because I said MKS next door was a beyyer businesses module! Food has been cooked 6 hours before, ni real Lion beers etc etc. Absolutely appalling as to what this great restaurant was once in the glory days. Very very sad

We do love this delicious venue! Curries and especially egg hoppers are amazing! Generous quality wine by the glass. Their Sunday lunch buffet is ridiculous value ✔️ we stumbled upon it one weekend with a 15 dollar all you could eat curry buffet with salads and desserts including a delicious crab curry. Highly recommended Réservez une table maintenant

The restaurant advertises as specialising in multiple cuisines. I think it ends up with speciality in none. Food was horrible, cold, service was rubbish and in one word, just not the place to go and spoil your mood.

We tried this place out as there are not too many Sri Lankan restaurants in Melbourne. There is a good selection of Sri Lankan cuisines and I would go back.
