Went in for Free RPG Day and like too many other stores the swag for Free RPG Day was behind a pay wall, which is code for people buying table time food at Game Train USA. Definitely not the intention of Free RPG Day, which is sad as I really want a FLGS after not having one for some time.Note to the owners, if you want to welcome people in via Free RPG Day maybe be more welcoming and generous. The food is decent, but once again, the prices are quite shocking given both the portion sizes and quality. The same applies to the drinks. If you’re looking to dine and drink, be prepared for club-level prices for a fast-casual experience.

As much as I would love to give this place a great review, I just can't. I love board games, and I absolutely love the theme of this restaurant. However, the execution of everything except for the Decor and Retail area of Game Train is lacking. Let me mention that my daughter and I were the only ones in the restaurant at 1p on a Thursday afternoon.First off, the service was terrible. We LOVED this place. What a cool idea! This is a combination board game store and bar/restaurant. The whole inside is themed like you 're on a train. Parts of the restaurant are set up like train cars with windows that display rolling country side. They have snacks and bar type food, all of which were pretty tasty. My colleagues and I had a wonderful time at Game Train! We went there for our team retreat on a Thursday afternoon, played two games, and sampled a variety of entrees and drinks. The service was excellent, the food was tasty, and the selection of games was extensive (in the best way possible!). The train theme added a fun and unexpected twist to the experience!
What a clever concept! We attended a friend’s Halloween party themed around board games, and the atmosphere was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, and it was a nice touch to have a bar on site. However, unlike many venues that cater to birthday celebrations, it didn't feel like a place where drinking was essential.

Great and attentive owners! Finally, a local shop you can trust in a world filled with CCG and gaming scams. They have an amazing selection of Magic, Warhammer, and D&D! It's family-friendly and also features a bar for adults.
