The selection of beers and drinks is always impressive. The wontons are absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend ordering an extra sauce—trust me, you’ll thank me later. The tater tots are also a great option; my three-year-old loves them! The only other dish we enjoyed was the chicken and waffles we had on a Sunday. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with the smash burger, which we expected to be great. It might have just been an off day, but it did put us off returning for a couple of months. I visited for the first time to participate in an exciting pub trivia night, which limits the teams to 50, creating a fun and friendly competitive atmosphere. They offer drink specials, and during the two-hour event, the drinks kept coming while the food was delicious and convenient. Given its popularity, everything ran smoothly and efficiently. If it weren't a 40-minute drive from Long Beach, I would definitely make this a regular stop. The staff and trivia host were fantastic. I'm definitely planning to return!
If you have a fondness for nostalgia and enjoy beer, this place is definitely worth a visit. Even if you don’t, you’re likely to have a fantastic time. The trivia night attracts some serious competitors, so make sure to arrive early. I haven't had a chance to try the food yet, but I’ll share my thoughts on it later. I highly recommend this spot if you enjoy games and craft brews. The liter lager is a great deal!
Great spot! Great food, great beer and good people. Kelly, Laura and MJ are amazingly helpful employees! They helped us out to find a table on an amazingly busy night when they had no obligation as we walked in without a reservation. They went out of their way to do so. Thanks to them! I returned for Mario Trivia Night and had an incredible time. The atmosphere was fantastic, and our host was outstanding—hilarious, charming, sassy, and witty, just as you would hope for at a trivia night. The food was rated 3.5 stars, and the beer was 4 stars, but Ari truly made the night a 5-star experience!
Great beers and tasty food. I recommend the loaded tater tots with the carnitas. Lots of big tables for large parties and an outdoor patio. Table games all over the place. I would love to see DDR and possibly a Kinect or something where you have to move around to control the video game.
