I’m giving this place a 2 because the service was completely incompetent. The food could have been good if I was actually given the “traditional gyro” but both me and my partner got different items in them, but we ordered the exact same thing. My gyro had red onion, tzaiki, lettuce, and tomato. I can literally still taste the onion from yesterday. Definitely wasn’t meant to be made that way. Anyway I was double charged by the strange and lethargic young kid who helped me. The women who was there also had terrible energy. The falafel was also horrible, dry and disgusting. (December 2021 visit Happy to find a Mediterranean place in the area with falafel. Bit of a fast casual dare I say following the Chipotle model of cafeteria line ordering. Visit was early evening and the dining area pretty empty but was ordering to go anyway. Presume it may cater to lunch crowd from local businesses. Staff was friendly, attentive and efficient in serving me. Falafel was pretty good but in my hunger I buried it in toppings (all healthy of course : I didn 't dine at the prior establishment but was content with my food and pricing was comparable to competition. Will visit again when in the area.
The food at this restaurant was terrible and the staff were unfriendly. I went for lunch with a co-worker and we both had to throw out our food because it was inedible. My gyro meat was dry, tough, and had no flavor, while my colleague found raw chicken in their chicken bowl. When we brought it to the staff's attention, they didn't seem to care and did not inspect the food before serving it to other customers. We asked to speak to the manager, but never received a call back, which showed us how little the management cared about customer feedback and food safety. I will not be returning to this restaurant.
At first, I thought the restaurant was closed because it was empty and there were no staff in sight. Despite this, I decided to try the door which was unlocked. To my surprise, a server appeared from the back once I entered. I ordered a delicious lamb gyro with a side of falafel. The food tasted fresh, although the falafel crust was a bit hard. I requested extra tzatziki sauce, as it was freshly made and delicious. The pickled onions, which I initially mistook for something else, turned out to be my new favorite condiment. So Salad was not bad. Very small for $13. But I know prices have gone up. Fries looked great on their picture. But they were terrible. They used already fried French fries and refried them. Then we’re super dark brown and hard to eat because they were so crunchy. I told the Manager and she just looked away and shrugged her shoulder and never said a word. I would say don’t waste your money. Went to the one in Dresher. Simple Greek was wayyyyy better! Or go to Chipotle next door- cheaper and way better.
Got a laffa (wrap) for a late lunch/ early dinner. The restaurant was empty but seemed newly renovated. I got humus and falafel. The falafel was not fresh and they put a dab of humus on one spot and did not spread it around like many others I’ve been to (I’ve been to plenty of Mediterranean restaurants). I also got a pepperocini which was still stemmed (not great to bite into). I wasn’t a big fan of the falafel and the wrap was hard around the edges. The sauces were good.
I love the food here but when you place an order online to pick up in store it’s never ready when it should be. They get my order wrong consistently and then tell me they’re going to take care of the customers in line behind me before they make my order. I don’t understand the logic here? If I’m here to pick up my food and it should have already been ready why am I told I need to wait until they take care of a whole line of people’s orders before making mine??!
Delicious food but the portion was so small. I normally would have leftovers with these types of places but I was still hungry even after finishing it. It also seemed way more expensive than other similar restaurants. $15 for a steak bowl. Very disappointing because I was excited for this food. If they gave double the portion size, I’d return for sure! The staff was friendly at least and the place was clean. Réservez une table maintenant
I have ordered from this restaurant before, but this time I was extremely disappointed. The bowl I received was only half full and I was given half a piece of pita, whereas previously I had received a whole piece. I am now reconsidering whether I will return to this restaurant. It is not worth the cost if they are going to reduce the portion size but charge the same amount.
