The vegan fish here is absolutely phenomenal. They make it all by hand in-house, unlike other restaurants that order them. The broccoli beef looks just like real beef, and the texture is exactly like the most tender beef you 'd find in an authentic Chinese restaurant in Monterey Park or Sam Gabriel. The crispy crunch of the orange chicken is downright addictive--we could have ordered one for each of us. The depth in flavor of the humble vegetable fried flat rice noodles is astounding. This is achieved only with a high enough heat to release the wok 's breath . This place could charge twice as much for how authentic and skillfully made their dishes are. I've been vegan for over two years now, and my parents are joining me in participating in Veganuary this year! We decided to stop by this restaurant on our way back from Los Angeles to Bakersfield on New Year's Day. We ordered lamb with snow peas, shrimp with vegetables, orange chicken, and kung pao duck. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection. I really wish I could find some of these mock meats more easily in the supermarket so I could try making some of these dishes at home! I will definitely return if I'm in the area again! Just a note, they were only open for takeout at the time due to COVID.

This has to be the best vegan Chinese food in LA. I take all my vegan and non vegan friends here and everyone loves it. It's a mom pop shop that I hope stays open and in business for many years to come. They serve great food and the place feels like visiting relatives. The kind that love to feed you and don't ask too many questions.

Absolutely incredible, hands down the best vegetarian food in LA. The consistency of the textures and flavors are incredible. Homemade fresh ingredients. Definitely a go to for Chinese. Favorite dishes includ the faux fish in hot bean sauce, faux orange chicken made of mushrooms, and the chicken drumsticks made from seitan. Réservez une table maintenant

If you love vegetarian Chinese cuisine, you must visit Garden Wok. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is wonderfully nostalgic, and the owner is incredibly kind. I can't believe it took me eight years of living in LA to discover this place. I can't wait to return!

I always make sure to stop at Garden Wok whenever I pass through LA, and it's definitely worth it. The soups are hearty and fresh, while the Buddha's feast is delicious. The eggplant with basil is simply irresistible and melts in your mouth.

Just discovered this authentic Chinese Vegan place; very rare to find this good quality dishes in west LA. The place is clean and the owner is very nice. Will definitely come back again!

Despite the name saying they're a vegetarian restaurant, they're actually now 100% vegan which is awesome! We felt so healthy after leaving the dishes aren't too sugary or heavy Réservez une table maintenant

This is the best Chinese vegan food I've ever had! We tried the chicken with peas, Kung Pao chicken, beef and broccoli, and pork fried rice. I highly recommend this place!
