Good Bar food, I love the chicken wings, but we went there a month ago for brunch and sat at the bar, and ordered French Toast and a Texas Toast Grilled Cheese with Egg. My french toast was completely uncooked except for the crust, and it was so soggy and eggy. The Texas toast, it was plain Italian white bread instead not texas toast, and it was not even grilled or toasted for that matter. I tried to reach out to the manager three times by phone, but every time I was told she doesn't work on weekends or Monday. Last night, my friend and I had dinner here and it was a very negative experience. We got nachos that were a $15 handful of tortilla chips with unseasoned black beans, three charred Jalapeños slices, molten American cheese, served on tin foil. I got the meat bag, which was incredibly salty, burned, and had the strange aftertaste on cigarettes. My friend had the burger who was overpriced and just okay. We understand that the service was slow because it was understaffing, but it was disappointing to wait so long for food that was not good.

This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. I have visited twice and have been consistently impressed by the service, food quality, and beer selection each time. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed and ensure all your needs are met. Their knowledge of beer is extensive and the food is exceptional. I tried the Miso wings yesterday and they were so delicious that I found myself getting lost in conversation. I absolutely love this place and can't understand why more people haven't found this amazing spot!

The waiter was super chill and the brunch menu at dinner time helped me remember my delicious egg sand I had this morning. The bathroom experience was to die as the shower curtain, which replaces a standard bathroom, kept me on toes, as I never knew when a fellow human can go wrong on me falling logs. The bathroom experience kept me guessing as there was no toilet paper. Really an exciting experience overall and I would highly recommend. Flip and Baileys could never live on this level of class and status.
Today was a long delayed return to the place where my pursuit of craft beer began. While the Ale House has “caved” to a short list of pretenders, most of the tap list is still worthy. Happily the food remains stellar and Mickey continues to man the taps on Wednesday and Fridays.
I have NEVER had a bad experience at this place. Patrick and his crew (Shoutout to Bernie who fills in on Sunday Brunch). The Ribs are AMAZING, the Burgers are sooooo GOOD, and it’s my go to spot for Sunday Brunch. If you have not been there, you are MISSING out , BIG TIME!!!!
WOW!!!! I was the first guest at GHAL after reopening, and it DID NOT disappoint!!! Great food awesome menu), great drinks, and UNBELIEVABLE service
