We found ourselves in Garwood with some friends during the hurricane flooding, feeling quite hungry and unsure of when we’d have our next meal since everything else was closed. We ended up at this restaurant, and even though the kitchen had already closed, the staff graciously fired up the grill again to whip up some delicious burgers and fries! The atmosphere was friendly too, making our experience even better. Overall, it was a typical local spot, but the food and service were excellent!
Typical local diving bar, but in a good way! I was caught in Garwood with some friends during the hurricane flooding. We were all hungry and did not know where or when our next meals would come because everything else was closed. We landed here looking for food after the kitchen was already closed, but the staff did not hesitate to turn the grill again and cook some delicious burgers and pommes! Friendly atmosphere too!
You must love Side Street Bar. Doesn't look like you want to go in. But it's just a cozy local irrigation hole. Local and only the. Local with manners and decency. Wouldn't have much to say that it's a shame that it's not bigger. Cool secret Arta place to have some pub scarf and beer. Pool table is welcoming and it is very clean.

One of the best Dive bars in the area. Cheap drinks, many locals, sports on the TV, pool table and safe....what else you need. This is Old School.
The best low key place for great beer, great people, great bartenders. Pool, darts, tvs, jukebox. All I'm looking for when I go out!
