For starters, we sampled the Caesar Salad, Turnip Soup, and House Salad. The Turnip Soup was light and refreshing, without being overly salty. We also tried the Smoked Salmon, imported from Scotland and kept in specially refrigerated containers at 33 degrees. It melted in our mouths like custard. For the main courses, the scallops were tender and flavorful, served on a bed of truffle sauce. We recently celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Gaslight Grill. Although it was our first time there, we will definitely return! The hostess decorated our table with confetti hearts to honor the occasion, and every waiter we encountered wished us a happy anniversary. Our server, Damien, was fantastic—very personable, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The wines were excellent, and my Filet Mignon was among the best I’ve ever had; it was served with garlic potatoes and asparagus. The food was decent and the ambience was nice. It's conveniently located near the church, making it a fun place for lunch afterward. However, there's nothing particularly remarkable about it, and I probably wouldn't choose to go again if it weren't for the great location. Additionally, the service was lacking; our waiter mentioned he had diarrhea right after serving us drinks, which was quite off-putting.
We are quite disappointed that, while all of your competitors have reopened and are effectively ensuring safety through social distancing and mask-wearing when not seated, you have chosen to remain closed. We enjoy going out. Last night we visited this excellent restaurant which we didn’t know before. We enjoyed a beautiful experience there with great meal and a well-trained crew and a distinguished chef. We put this place in our phone list and we will surely return soon. We highly recommend.
This was our first visit to this restaurant to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary, and it was truly amazing! The food was incredibly delicious, and our server was attentive and well-informed about the menu. I ordered the beef Wellington, and it was fantastic. Highly recommended!
