I think this possibly the worst restaurant I have ever visited in an area that has absolutely beautiful restaurants generally. The service was appalling it was so Fawlty Towers it was unbelievable. They have a menu board outside the restaurant which entices you in but then the menu cards inside don't match the food outside. Because their English isn't good, they can't work out what you are trying to order. On the day we were there, it was primarily Spanish people, who were literally laughing at the staff member for being so poor. With so many beautiful restaurants in this area, for God's sake avoid this place and don't waste your money.
We tried this place as near to our hotel and looked nice. However we were treated with disdain at our (poor albeit still made an effort) attempt at speaking Spanish and were made to feel we were not welcome. We were shown to seats eventually as we ordered drinks and said we’d eat, but when we decided not to (Spanish menu inside didn’t match outdoor offerings) we were abruptly told we had to move to the bar seats .. even tho the place was empty. Many other places far nicer, friendlier and better.. recommend you give this a miss.
It's fine with the menu of the day, first and second, I don't put five stars because it would be okay with another couple of options. recommend the beans that are their specialty, can be eaten as a dish of the day, or the beans menu that incorporates the typical sacraments, chorizo, morcilla, etc.
good discovery minutes from the ondarreta beach. menu of the day letter and rations. opening hours very wide to homemade food: the carrilleras and the scramble very rich although the potatoes bravas a little more jotas

We were so happy to find this charming cafe. Can’t understand why some are displeased. Gasteiz opens early for our morning coffee with yummy tortilla or croissants. Really good fish soup and scrambled egg offerings.

We ate yesterday and the deal was extraordinary that they were worried at all times if the food was fine. good light at a reasonable price.
Pequeño Restaurante en el barrio del Antiguo, menu del día con producto local a buen precio. Servicio rápido y eficaz. Recomendable.
