location: the oldest eppelwoilocation in the room has character. it is located in the old town in front of the burg and is a technical building. I am not in a 4-star place, original and cozy, exactly what I expect. for the intimate evening to two it will never be here; for this original and cozy even if we sat in the next room at the table with plastic coating. money for wooden tables that they probably did not deserve. that is because they get the inexpensive enormous portions to eat there what they need. the publikum is mixed and tactical the entertainments are louder than in the braided gourmet temple, which also makes for me. service: we were there with 8 people and. for all 8 eating cam...
You'll get glances from the locals when you walk in, especially if you look like a tourist, but that's part of German tradition, that silent, excessively long stare, hunched over a mug of beer. The food is decent, traditional German. I can't even remember much about it because you come here because a) you somehow found your way to this quaint town and got hungry, b) your friends brought you. Either way, you're there because you have to be and it certainly is good enough to enjoy. There aren't many other choices in town and I doubt you'll get an unpleasant meal here.
If you're looking for a real German experience this is the place! Great food at value for money prices the staff are super friendly (even if you don't speak German! . Situated in the old town of Dreieichenheim, you can work up an appetite by walking around the old castle ruins that are literally just a stone's throw away. Just one tip don't order desert here if you are into ice cream because there's a great ice cream parlour less than 3 minutes walk away!
very nice and typical restaurant in the old town of Dreieich (also the old town is really nice). eating is freshly prepared so that they have to wait a few time to get their order, but it is really worth waiting. also the waiters are very nice. they come with a smile, explain the menu, give suggestions.
