Location Between Stuttgart and Ludwigsburg lies Markgröningen. Surrounded by factory-bound houses on the market square with its Easternly beautifully decorated fountain, you will find the inn that has existed as a bear since 1922. A large parking lot for cars, buses and 5 campers is a 10-minute walk away. At noon this was the only inn that was open on Mondays and when we starved a light bear and the resurrection and chalkboards on the walls presented the promising menu today, we returned. Inside you are not greeted by dark, heavy furniture, but light wood with upholstery and tablecloths in blue (in the next room or Lindgreen in the guest room. There is also a vaulted cellar for celebrations and the small beer garden with a view of the market place at sunshine. Total area for 100 persons. We settle in the cozy guest room of old German styles. The decoration is simple and illuminated by illuminated waist glass windows on the walls with motifs and coats of Markgröningen. Companies and regulars meet here for lunch. Service We are warmly welcomed and expertly advised by the sister of the here acting sibling couple. The kitchen works so routine that it easily masters the challenge of a large menu. Food As a lunch table there are 3 changing menus daily to choose from with a soup or a dessert. From the regular menu, good-bourgeois and typical Swabian specialities are offered and from the seasonal maps asparagus dishes. To whom this is not enough, there is also a display on the table that offers sour chefs with roast potatoes and salad (8,80 €). We'll take the sour pudders. A large deep plate comes with a lot of sauce and marinated fine acidic, cut into strips, delicate cube. Tastefully served with a wonderfully spicy touch and cube potatoes, extra served, fried in the pan. So taste roast potatoes. On the other hand, the two menus ordered can wait a bit. But before that there was already the fillet soup from the cup. Then he started with the Viennese onion rash with frits and salad (9,50 €). The rust roast was picked and unfortunately took away the whole taste of the meat. But what's going on? The part was degreasy and I added something. The second menu was a delicate pork roast with vegetables and salt potatoes (€7.80). The vegetables were kept simple and hardly refined. The salads were very fresh, but the dressing in turn was unspectacular. The cheese cake finally tasted as a dessert and was the golden crown of the bear. Conclusion Not strong bears, but below is our verdict, we have eaten well here.

The real Wiener Schnitzel for 26€ was inedible. At JEDEM bites, the tendons and cartilage have crawled between the teeth. In addition, the sides were strongly fried differently. The bottom was black in places! The homemade pommes were flaky and at best lukewarm. A family member bite into a pommes and totally refused his food.The service was very strenuous and mixed up several times unquestioned in our table talks. Every guest who has gone, they have been happy and complained loudly that too much has been going on.Sanitary facilities mock every description. Loser toilet seat, burn spots of cigarette tipping on the cover of the sink box and numerous spider webs round off the picture. Contrary to my way, I did not complain on site as we were invited and I did not dripping the host
