Lunch with friends on Tuesday proved to be a bit difficult to plan, not every inn is open all day. Old fashioned Gasthaus with traditional well presented food. The special touches are evident every where. A little bit off the center of Tulln you will find this hidden gem. At noon locals come there to grab their lunches it´s very good and inexpensive. You get a soup of the day and different seasonal dishes. For dinner you can also eat a`la carte and drink a fine glass of wine especially recommended during summer when you can sit outside in the cozy garden. There are also options for vegetarians.

Das "Schiffchen" ist mein Lieblingsrestaurant in Tulln. Dezente Athmosphäre, aufmerksame höfliche Bedienung, Speisen mit einem gewissen Pfiff. Man merkt die Liebe, mit der gekocht wird. Außerdem gibt es schnell verfügbare Tagesteller, manchmal mit sensationell guten Suppen. Sehr empfehlenswert.
