Gasthaus Gruttenstein, Pfaffei

We were recommended to go to the Pfaffei and our expectations were exceeded! The Cordon bleu was the hammer! So rich and big! Meat so tender! I love cordon bleu but I have never eaten such a good one!! Unfortunately, it was very loud in the restaurant (we were there at St.Martin, as a few guests at the other table have roared loudly all the time and we could hardly talk normally. Too bad we were only for a holiday in Bad Reichenhall, but we definitely come back to dinner! :

We were here for the first time and have rarely eaten so well in an inn. The supplement salads are super tasty, as well as fresh and the pommes were perfectly seasoned. Cordon Bleu was unique and freshly prepared. A big plus is that ketchup and Mayo were served chilled. The devil's toast was also incredible. If you want to eat right well at fair prices, just have to have been here!

If you like family-run restaurants - don't miss it! Like mother cuisine. Giant portions. No tourists (except us ;)). Excellent value for money. Small and cozy. We were really satisfied.

The food there is mega. I'm not that fan of classic German cuisine, but I liked it. In addition, the service is very family and friendly. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

The beer garden is great, The serving people should be a little bit more freindely. The beer is fresh and the salat great. The portion you get is more than enough
