Gasthaus Lax - Réserver une table

typical Carinthian restaurant frequented by those who go and come from the nockberge. with the old management was great and we often went (we have house in the vicinity.) the new management, which involved a restructuring is instead, in my opinion, really lacking. Who needs a table, I think the owner, is quite inconvenient. but the lady very kind. But here... The problem is food. the menu is quite discounted, but this in charity is quite normal. a dish of beef goulasch with gries dumpling turned out to be inmangiable (sipid meat immersed in a brown sauce insipid and not spicy at all. ) Passable the finferli mushrooms with the same dumpling. I speak a great German, however on the order there was a misunderstanding as I believed that eierschwammerlgoulasch meant goulasch with funghetti and not only funghetti. from here a dish (on two) postponed in the kitchen and replaced with the appropriate, but bad, beef goulasch. In order to get the replacement, paying for other things also the postponed dish, I had to insist. . So we paid too much for not eating almost anything and this place will no longer see us, despite the proximity. I'm sorry.

after a wonderful tour over the nockerberge we have made the gasthaus lax rast and we are looking forward to a delicious apfelstrudel. was the worst I had eaten in the cold. my friends have recommended a homemade specialty - a soup - which was in turn good. but this is all ok, not every day is the kitchen in top form - rather human. but that the service was not in top form and not very friendly, is also human, but does not necessarily fit into a cozy house. I was there many years ago and everything was okay.

Urgemütliches Landgasthaus. Wir haben die Speisekarte durchgekostet...alles Top. Der absolute Hammer ...die Fleischnudeln und die Kletzennudeln...selten was so Gutes geschmaust. Dazu gibts Hausbier und einen tollen Zirbenschnaps. Super freundliches Service und kommunikative einheimische Originale runden den positiven Eindruck ab. Besuch ist jedenfalls zu empfehlen!!!

Good eastern national restaurant with the usual menu card. I had rosettes of a good quality, my wife had a cordon bleu that was good. No high-star kitchen, but just a good meal.
