Recomended by a friend I tryed it. Looking for smoething realy better and different I appreciated the evening but it will not be the top best I was. The service is professional very helpfull, the place is tipical Austrian with an older but high class...style. The wine I get to taste was good for a local white one, and just low for a red one. The meal tryes to give you something different but is not the great dream I was looking for. The price is not to cheap but also not to high for this quality. Try to get some tipical menu, but don't expect outstanding wine. Good for diner for 2.

we have discovered the underwirt by accident because the homepage has fallen so well. my partner and I have spent a few incredibly relaxed days in the underwirt and ebbs. starting from fantastic good eating, a wonderful breakfast over super betten and incredibly nice service. we enjoyed our time in the sub-host very much. at familie steindl you feel as if you were too hospitable at friends! also the restaurant has convinced us fully, super creative and exciting menus enchant taste experiences. we love it and will come again!
again we were at fam. steindl in the gourmet hotel Unterwirt to host. we were very welcome by the family. a wonderful family business. the hotel is located in the middle of ebbs with a beautiful garden illuminated in the evening and invites you to dinner at night and what comes out of the kitchen is grandios. hoods - kitchen!!! the waiter french in service is excellent; attentive, courteous and also he is always extremely friendly. so we will gladly let ourselves be pampered again by franz and the family steindl.
the underwirt is a hotel with the special charm. this begins with the greeting through the waiter and leads to the best table-spitz I have ever eaten, sorry dear plachutta! the cozyness in the hotel is indescribably pleasant and relaxing. I'd almost call it an "eating with friends." we will definitely come back to try the legendary imperial bullies. ;-)
