in the countryside of graz you can hike and walk on the gentle hills; Of course, you get appetit and then look after a nice and cozy local around. Just one thing is the gas house Weber-Kreiner in a tight walk, with the name "to the funny angle". if I don't täusche, it has not opened daily, but mostly only at the weekend (we are often there with the whole family) its speciality consists in particular of everything related to hawn: especially the backhendl has always been there season (one should preorder it, then it goes faster). from the ambiente you can't expect anything fancy, because here it's more rural and unavoidable to say a little retro; in winter, it can be overheated once, well, then you put the window on. for this the prices are very moderate and the beer excellent, even the service has such a certain defensive Austrian charm.
backhendl although - widely known as very well - could not convince us at all. tasteless panier, quite saltless and quite firm in the bit (too fast fritted)? from usual juiciness unfortunately miles away. salat very good, as well as the homemade torts. that it is quite warm and loud in the local area has been discussed as well. Unfortunately, the gas house won't be my dreamy favorite, actually a pity - because it would be suitable for the following walk from the surroundings.
not only eating is very good! various events, as well as every year of the carnivalsball is a hit. a lot of work at the various masks, loving design of the ball, pumping local, nice/ happy staff and not to forget the youngs of the music - Fahrenbacher.Everything in a great event - are always happy to come up. also a beautiful thanks for the prizes awarded to the masks and groups - sensational! was again a beautiful, fun evening/morning!!! many thanks to
