It was Thanksgiving Day and this was my choice for taking the in-laws out that evening. I have been here before and really enjoyed it, but I think it now has different owners. The decor inside has been modernized to look a bit more hip, but is not overly trendy or confusing. The service was very attentive and they carry Maizels Hefeweizen. Quality! Since turkey was not on the menu, I decided to go with the schnitzel from locally sourced veal and my wife had the gnocchi in sage butter. Both were delicious! They gave us a complimentary trout mousse as an amuse bouch. Very tasty! It was a fantastic meal and the service was friendly and helpful. Although the atmosphere is a bit more upscale, it is not stuffy or overly formal. A terrific place for a nice meal with family or for a romantic dinner.

Both for an intimate dinner, as well as for the family, this is a great restaurant , with a lot of choice and good service. Make sure you book on time, so that you can get a table in the main section. Otherwise you may end up in the back room, which sometimes is less cosy.

The diner was excellent, with typical German dishes. The meat and sauces were particularly delicious. The atmosphere and the service are also very nice. All together, this is a very good restaurant which worh the relatively expensive price (for Germany).

The food is outstanding but unfortunately the waiter came across a bit impolite whilst trying to be witty. We will be back and hope that particular employee will not be working there anymore

Food was very good, service a little slow but we had requested an English speaking waiter as there were a few questions we wanted to ask.
