we brought our friends here, who we showed around the German Christmas markets. was never here in December and it's really nice. lindau himself has a great market. we ate in this time and the interior of the restaurant is very clean and charming. I. came early to make reservations and they were busy as in the rule so it took a because to get someone attention, but they took my reservation and when we returned, they gave us one of the best tables in the house! we all had the reh joking, which I think is the best meal here and the best reh joking in the world. so delicate and tasty. for all of us there was a lot to eat. Yeah, it's expensive, but it's worth it! I ordered two sides of red cabbag...
We came here quite forced because it was low season and we had no other option. We had a schnitzel an a sausage for dinner. But both plates were not so good. Fried potatoes cold and not appealing, the sausage had lentils set aside but...there was really too much salt, almost impossible to eat. For a schnitzel they charge you 22,50 euros, we had cheaper and better ones in other places even if they were in the city center. I travelled a lot around Germany and we always have schnitzel, as typical plate, unfortunately I consider this maybe the worst I had around.
many good restaurants are closed after 14 o'clock in the afternoon. this was one of the only ones who had a kitchen open all afternoon. that was not our first choice, but we were late and needed lunch. the location of the...terrace is beautiful on a hotspot in the old town lindau. personal was fast and did work there. making imperial were very tasteful and a good part. the typical German court that my friend had, spaetzle, was above all a big part and the taste was just fine. the prizes were okay. for a fast meal this restaurant is good.
We popped in here for a late lunch, on a Friday. The restaurant is on the main street of the historic center. The place was full of locals, so we decided to try it. The menu is abridged in between typical lunch and dinner hours....Perhaps prices were cheaper than those on the regular menu, because lots of locals were there to eat. I enjoyed my local red sausage order while my friend's braised pork was not memorable. Service was attentive with menus in English. Prices were on the lower side. There was no wifi here. petur. in the center of lindau is a pleasure to get lunch in the free on the wooden table before the restaurant on the other side of the passage. normal Bavarian cuisine, sausage and other classic dishes. good beer and good cleaning. service a little distraction. and long time to get the food. not all waiters speak other languages than German. this is quite unacceptable in a position where tourist from all over the world come.
Located on the main pedestrian zone the interior of this restaurant could use some modernization but is not uncomfortable. They offer typical regional dishes, some of which on the more expensive side. At first, the service is very friendly and attentive, this however decreases gradually....Food is good although not as special as they claim in their menu.
There are so many of these places offering traditional dining. This one is fine . Good quality food if somewhat limited. I had Entrecote steak with crispy onions and Bratkartoffelen. Really authentic atmosphere etc.etc. Incl. beers our bill came to €100 for 4 people, about...average. Nicely situated in town centre and staff were efficient
We arrived on spec but we're offered a table without having to wait. The food was excellent and our waitress very efficient. She looked after us very well. The venison was delicious and the steak very good. Would definitely eat here again. Réservez une table maintenant
