needs some improvements. We had lunch and the outside terrace was quite busy. It took quite some time until we received the menu and received twice not what we ordered. After apologize we received the right dish. After starter the delivery of our main course took quite long as well we had to ask twice for the bill. We felt the team was a bit under pressure as there was not enough staff for serving the crowds. The food was good but not outstanding. We had several varieties of Bavarian dishes and Bodenseefelchen. The location inside the city is quite nice.
Outside, on the beautiful historical main street of Lindau in summer season crowds of people are passing by and can look what you eat! Food is just reasonable, mainly local dishes in big portions are served. The service is slow and not very friendly. Avoid this restaurant in summer time. In the winter season the inner part of this old restaurant is quite nice, service and food are somewhat better.
This restaurant has a great location in the main pedestrian area. So if the weather is nice you can stay outside and enjoy the view.The service was fine.The food was average from my point of view. I was a bit disappointed to tell the true. It was not cheap. I expected typical food from the region well prepared, but from my point of view it was a kind of touristic place...
We visitied this place, because all other restaurants were full or closed. First: They don't have the full menu all day, so we had to choos from the smaller afternoon menu, which was boring. Both soups were boring, but choose the "Leberknödelsuppe" the stuffling actually...More

this restaurant is in the town I sat outside the menu is varied. they will do smaller portions on some dishes which I find helpful the meal was well cooked and served the staff were friendly the prices good

The food we had was average. The fish probably isn't fresh, and it was swimming in butter. The pumpkin soup was good, schnitzel also not particularly memorable.
When in Lindau try to have at least meal in this restaurant as it is very good food, OK prices and friendly staff. Recommend that you book your table.

Despite language differences, our waitress Zsuzsanna was friendly and most helpful. Food was great. Wine good. Recommend.
Traditional meal. Enjoyed our meal but could not get first choice as it was not available. Fairly pricey. Tourist focus.
