This small restaurant was recommended by the hotel. The taxi turned down a street that existed long before the idea of an automobile was ever considered. The building was started in the late The dining room is small, crowded with local diners, and pleasant....The Ramschnitzel mit Spoetzel was great and the potato croquets were light, not dense. With German beer, the dinner is always good. The portions were ample. Considering the quality and quantity, this was a great value. Bring cash because they may or may not be taking Visa that day. The owner was kind enough to call a taxi when he took our payment and it was there in two minutes. Coming from the land of chain restaurants, it was an experience to step back in time and have a hearty German, hand-prepared meal.

Went her together for a lunch on a Friday afternoon. The place is very cute and has the style of Germany some time ago. The service is good. The selection of plates is larger, next to cheap daily lunch option. We went for dishes from...the menu and for the price it is very good. We will be back to try more.
