Gasthaus zur Schranne

Made reservations months ago for Christmas dinner and wasn't disappointed. My food was very good and the pumpkin soup amazing. Another person in our party didn't like the sauce with the sauerkraut but that was just a personal preference. Our other guest had the fish and loved it along with the cheese soup. We really enjoyed it and would definitely go again when visiting Garmisch.

There are many in Garmisch inns where you can definitely eat well in many, but I know only three houses where you also feel the ma in Garmisch is, and doa by is the Schranna no de urigste. Doa is, no matter when ma comes, s in there early at 11:00 or afternoon or in the evening a certain aura where ma feels dahoam. Thomas from Ludwigsburg

That's excellent! Super nice service, a great atmosphere, all very well maintained and very lovingly decorated. Much more important: eating is simply top. The pork roast is low in fat and very juicy. The ganserl today as well, also the Schnitzel. We come back and look forward to Friday, where we have reserved again.

50. We were here and drank a beer. Whether bread time or main dish, It tasted fantastic from our point of view. We thank you very much for food and drink, but most of the people are our thanks. We had lunch after our trip to Partenkirchen, so we arrived around 2.30pm. Therefore the menu was a reduced one with not the whole set of dishes. Nonetheless we ordered beef and snitchel, and both were really delicious. The service was very nice and fast, and the place is beautiful and cozy.

We were here for a family dinner and were mildly disappointed. We had Schweinsaxe, zweibelrostbraten, bauernente and About half of us were disappointed with our food. The pork knuckles in particular were dry. Service, while pleasant, was quite slow

For lovers of traditional Bavarian cuisine, the Gasthaus zur Schranne is simply a must in Garmisch! Super nice service in a cozy Bavarian atmosphere and a meal for which you like to come back.

Food was quite good (schnitzel and braten), wine by the bottle was good and fairly priced and the ambiance was pleasant. Service was exceptionally friendly (and we speak German). Réservez une table maintenant
