We were hungry and were in transit. The restaurant is very appealing just from the outside. The terrace invites you to linger, especially when the weather is nice. The ambience and the rooms are very stylish and modern. The food (schnitzel with asparagus) was sensationally good. Nice thin schnitzel with a very tasty breading. The asparagus was not too soft and not too hard cooked. The potatoes are beautifully cooked in butter and perfect. The staff very friendly and committed. From taking the order to serving it, everything went very quickly. The restaurant is an insider tip in the region if you want to eat delicious food and spend a nice evening with the family. We came from Ulm and were not disappointed. The service was friendly and accommodating and was fast and reliable despite the whole house. The food was excellent, and there was no need to complain. The meat (both pig, beef, deer or geese) was soft and juicy butter and the supplements were just after the presentation. The selection of drinks leaves nothing open and completes the positive image (in the place I must recommend the Rosé Grauburgunder, dry). Last but not least we were four with two appetizers, four main dishes, two small and two large beers, three glasses of wine, three cups and one Scotch nearly 150 €. We will definitely come back and recommend the Golden Eagle.
For a long time we were looking forward to the family day with a leisurely lunch. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The food tasted average, nothing special. The red cabbage was not edible, the frying fat still bothers me in the evening, the portion of onion roast is too small for the price, my son was still hungry. The salad was also pretty lackluster. We had booked a family celebration for around 30 people. The food was very good, the service was always friendly, accommodating and child-friendly. The ambience is traditional and modern, people like to linger here. Outside there is the opportunity to sit on the terrace and in the beer garden. The playground is beautifully laid out and inviting. We were at lunch with 12 people on September 2 at 18:00. All persons (all relatives) have expressed themselves only positively about the very good food and attentive service.5 People of my relationship have also stayed overnight. My sister has only annoyed herself that other guests outside were very loud until 02:00, so that they were disturbed considerably during their night rest.
Are about 1x a month in the Golden Eagle and have never been disappointed! Always super delicious food, beautiful guest room and terasse! Staff not to exceed kindness! The best place in the dams!
