My wife and I decided to take a trip out of Vienna city centre so took tram D to the end of the line in Nussdorf. While we were exploring the town a local resident asked if we needed any help. During the conversation he...recommended Zum Renner, which serves traditional Austrian dishes. We couldn't eat there that day but returned a couple of days later specifically to eat in the restaurant. We were warmly greeted when we entered the restaurant and then shown to a table. It was very busy with locals. A good sign as it was a Monday evening when you expect restaurants to be quiet. The service was quick and the food hot and very tasty. We enjoyed the meal and I had a couple of beers. Dark and light beer mixed. If you find yourselves in Nussdorf and you want to eat traditional Austrian food I would recommend Zum Renner to you. Wiener Gastlichkeit seit 1899. Viennese hospitality since 1899.

We decided to go for a walk after dinner on a river cruise ship Stumbled onto this local establishment and wished we had came for dinner It has a lovely beer garden and local specialties on the menu along with aged beef options We had...a couple of beers before heading back to the shop If you are staying overnight in Vienna pay this pub a visit

This is the perfect looking Austrian restaurant. The beer garden is close to perfect, interior is small but beautifully decorated. Eating is also good if expensive. Such a shame that the whole thing is spoiled by such an unfriendly service. It is as if you receive a great favor by being served. I'm afraid I'm not going anymore.

Unofrtunately I will not recommend this place for dinner. There was a hair in my dish. Waiter when informed about a fact did not seemed to care. He didn’t even apologised. I highly advise to find a different restaurant for those who prefer a profesional...service.
