The initial welcome here was excellent, and the food (when it came) was fine, but the evening was completely spoilt because they clearly forgot about our order, and then attempted to lie their way out of it. The two meals would not have taken long to prepare (and they were clearly prepared very rapidly after we complained). After 45 minutes of waiting for a schnitzel and chips and a Labskaus (a kind of corned-beef hash) I asked if their was a problem, and the waiter - who up to this point had been only too keen to speak English - became quite unfriendly and suddenly spoke only rapidly in German. His colleague then came over to say that all meals had to be freshly prepared, and that the wait...
We've eaten three times in the restaurant last week, the servings are big. The service is friendly and simple, the local rustic and cozy. I had Forelle Müllerin Art, the 2nd time Hip Steak and the 3rd. Red bass everything was perfect. The roast potatoes were great, baked potatoes Legger, now we were not there during the season, but the cook can be his craft. The service was great, our waiter asked if we needed something. My husband liked to try the sprouts, he got a small plate full of sprouts that were not on the bill) so great. Sassnitz himself does not really sleep outside the season, but the food in the guest meal of the sea was great.
Best fish restaurant in the world and meeting place from all over the world, Top Top Top! Better does not go and that in Sassnitz on the beautiful island and the largest island of the Federal Republic of Germany!! ! Continue so and always give nice tips.. With kind greeting Oliver Hildebrandt
