we had visited from düsseldorf and I asked a colleague he could recommend in the north of nürnberg, his answer "gaststätte marienberg, there are all good, best are the calzone, but also German and Franconian dishes are good. So I went with the hospitable, that is something hidden behind the BMW dealer at the end of the snow garden. we were received and supplied with drinks. the beer garden is very nice among large trees in the middle of the park. the selection of food and drinks is impressive. at the first visit the visit has eaten an insalata tacchino and I have a pizza. both very rich, tasty and cheap. during the second visit we decided to freeze with potato salad, even that was delicious...

The restaurant lies just a few meters away from the big pedestrian/bike way across the park, but still it's pretty well hidden unless you know to look for it. I guess the main customer base comes from the garden plots surrounding the restaurant. It at elast seems that many of the guests are frequenters. And why not. The food is ok (the pizza was just way too salty fo my taste) and doesn't cost almost anything, and the drinks are also very priceworthy (probably one of the cheapest Maß's in the town). The seating outside is very comfy when the weather is fitting. The service staff is also very friendly and one can see the good relations they have with the customers.

in the middle of a small garden colony you will find this restaurant.After having used to stay close, I was very often hospitable and still very happy to come here today. We are very happy to welcome you here and I like it and my parents.The food is very tasty and the service is not too surpassed! you also know us after months. simply great and we always love to come.price-quality ratio is great and after a walk it is really great to let the souls bangle here. we always love to come!

the restaurant marienberg is a little hidden among the harsh gardens. but the way is worth it, the restaurant offers delicious Franconian cuisine and a beautiful beer garden that invites them to the fluffy. also completely ok at the price.
