The Zillerhof is one of the few Bavarian economies that still exist. I've been to Zillerhof for dinner several times. The map is very extensive for a small inn, focus on Bavarian cuisine, but also fish and pasta dishes. The dishes are freshly prepared, the quality feels somewhat above average, the prices are reasonable. The facility has already seen some better days, but nothing you would call a village boazn.
Been to Zillerhof for the first time on Sunday. Very rustic furnishings, looking at both waitresses, as we were the only not regular guests and strong kitchen odour were the first impressions. Fleet service, ground food with rather small portions for a farmer's economy. The small portions are probably due to the older audience.
Review is for picked up carving during lockdown. Schnitzel were very delicious. The Schnitzel came to the pan only after I was on site. So super fresh. When the phone asked when to come, there were no crowds.
