Gaststätte Zur Eiche

Although we've been in Hofheim for 15 years, we've been here for the first time today. The Gaststätte Zur Eiche is a typical pub from which you can find almost no more. The apple wine tastes excellent and who wants to eat something finds local specialties with Rumpteak or the hand cheese. The portions are rich and very tasty! A popular hosting has rounded off the beautiful evening, we were not here the last time!

Here is a self-realized cedar and a small menu with local reference. But note: The course Hessisch for beginners should be successfully completed. Feels like the time stopped, this is where young and old meet. Legendary are the email records in the guest room. Obacht: On Rappeltaach Thursday it is robust! For smokers there is a separate room, here also the automatic game can be crowned.

Ich gehe nun seit mittlerweile rd. 10 Jahren mehr oder weniger regelmäßig in der Eiche Handkees oder Burger essen. Mir ist kein Lokal bekannt, wo der Handkäse besser schmeckt. Selbstgemacht, mit Zwiebeln oder Speck (der Speckrappler) für Handkees-Fans ein muss. Ambiete ist eher Dorfkneipe aber das Essen ist sehr gut, reichlich und günstig. Sehr zu empfehlen

I feel at least once a week in this magnificent, authentic place to the homemade cheese and the really good homemade apple wine and have a lot of fun while strolling with nice guests in the vase. Probably one of the last really German gastro plants. Enjoy as long as there is. Thank you. Germany Réservez une table maintenant

Hervorragender Qualität der Speisen. Handkäse absolut genial. Ich mag ihn mit ganz viel Musik und Kümmel. Köstlicher Apfelwein und prima gezapftes Bier. Nette Leute und immer gute Gespräche. Ein echt guter Platz auch gerade Donnerstags.

Schnitzelabend in der Rappel, lieber frühzeitig da sein, sonst findet ihr keinen Platz! Gut bürgerliches Essen in dieser Gaststätte. Als "Restaurant" ist es nämlich nicht zu sehen, das tut dem Geschmack allerdings keinen Abbruch ;)

There are still honest dishes. Self-made cheese or carving with bread; really delicious. A spoon (apple wine). All at reasonable prices.
