It may not have the latest standard but it is very clean and cozy. I find the price performance ratio very good. For example, a double room half board costs 64 euros and includes a warm meal in the evening and breakfast in the morning. The food is very good as also own house slaughter and everything is made from sausage to carving itself. I find it cozy and until the town centre of Alpirsbach it is just 2 kilometers to walk. There are also direct bus stops in front of the Gasthof towards Alpirsbach or in the other direction towards Freudenstadt. For me it is one of the idyllic places in the Black Forest.
