I remember when the flagship opened on South Broadway. It was simply very good. While the buildings and locations differ, the experience is always the same- fresh, quality, friendly. I do think the Arvada location has the best building. A nice indoor/outdoor patio. Tilapia Tuesday 's are a hard deal to beat. Anytime I 'm craving fish chips I go to GB. I ordered the sausage rolls. One was dry and dark in the middle as if it were old, and it was inedible. Two other rolls were raw in the middle, and inedible. When the staff member asked how the food was, I answered honestly. He stated the machine that cooks the rolls is to blame, and he offered no solution. The cod was good. This is great fish place very tasty fried cod However, I do not recommend the cole slaw it is just average and it costs $3.25 but for that price, they give you 1/3 cup in a small plastic container like you get the tarter sauce in. Way over priced. They also charge the same for french fries, but have a good service of french fries. Other than the cole slaw, their food is very good. Their staff is excellent and friendly.
Really good fish and chips! I hadn't had pollock before, and was pretty impressed. The daily specials are great, too. The outdoor area is super pleasant, with lots of tables in various levels of shade/rain protection. Food came fast, everything was hot and fresh. Great value, too! Amazing service! $1.5p tilapia Tuesday was perfect for our family of 3 growing boys. 32 pieces, 2 orders of fries, vodka mule and a tequila mule. Lots of seating options inside and out.
