In addition to eggs and pasta products, the extensive range is complemented by products of friendly farmers. So there are honey, jams, jelly, juices and also high percentage and wine from the region. The Hofstube has open on Sundays from 11 a.m. and offers Franconian cuisine from 2 p.m. there is coffee, homemade cakes and cakes. From 17 a.m. it is then made with bread-time plates and sausage specialties. On every last Saturday a month, slaughter festival is there, of course, the courtrooms also opened and you can eat locally or buy fresh liver and blood sausage and other treats for home. We stayed on 06.04.2019 as part of a 60. Birthday celebration for the first time in the Hofscheune by the Geier family, and I am 100% convinced by the Hofscheune. 1st place: We came with the camper, immediately got a very good place with electricity, in an extremely idyllic location: small lake, ducks, swans, view in the forest, and yet very sunny. 2. I would like to share my experience because we are really very disappointed and incomprehensible. Unfortunately, the boss has no sense of guest satisfaction and was very unfriendly in appearance. After Pentecost on Sunday 31.05.20 we ate at Gasthof Geier on noon. We had a table at 11.30 or 13.00. Due to the reservation list we were looking forward to a really delicious meal and a smooth process. Unfortunately, everything was different. We found at the table at 12.50. At 13.20 the service came and took the drinks, at 13.45 the food was only taken, which was then served 14.15. We sat there for an hour until the food came. We sat outside and the food was unfortunately not the same as on the map. 1. It was lukewarm cold the sauce had a light skin. 2. The meat was completely dry 3. Pommes were placed on the plate due to insufficient croquettes. (I had complained that the service did not come back to our table. 4. The mushrooms did not taste fresh. Because of the long waiting times, the drinks were completely empty and the hunger was wide. It was usually eaten, some dry meat residues remained. At some point the service came and asked if we were satisfied. We said no and wanted to talk to the boss. This came to the table with an attractive mood.
We celebrated my husband's 70th birthday. The food was very good and plentiful. However, the vegetarian dish (Gmüselasagne) was almost not seasoned. The barn is super nice and cozy. Actually, we and our guests were super satisfied. We thought we found a favorite again. Until the bill was paid. We were 67 persons and 5 children between 2 and 4 years and 1 child with 6 years. I noticed a few times in advance that we are fewer people. But we had to pay for 72 people. But do not thirsty take home from paid food (is allegedly thrown away). We will definitely avoid this place in the future and do not recommend it for celebrations. Shade
