We (2 people) were for lunch yesterday and had to experience some of what we rarely experienced. After we had placed on the beautiful terrace, we had to wait 20 minutes until the service took up our drink order after serving 2 tables that came to us about 10 minutes and 15 minutes. After another 10 minutes we were also allowed to give up our food order (1× pork melodies and 1× pork roast). After 70 minutes of arrival we were also allowed to taste our dishes. Tastefully, the pork roast was at most lower middle class, the semmelknödel gatschig (gold plated), the medallions were well roasted (beautifully tender), but tastefully also only middle class. Urgent, Bavarian hospitality in a dreamlike idyllic atmosphere. The rooms are super clean, simple but very cosy. But you prefer to sit in the very cozy guest room or on the sun terrace with fantastic panorama. If you are lucky, you can listen to a real Bavarian regular table at the neighboring table and get to know the native language in the original! The atmosphere of the very small village is quiet and you can take great walks or hikes. The Böhmweg leads directly past Greising and the hiking trails are very well marked and well maintained. Breakfast offers a selection of sausage, cheese and sweet spread, juice and yogurt or fruit. It is provided at the table, but there is more than enough...
After we had waited for half an hour to order at all (the beautiful view from the sun terrace still compensated this), the food finally arrived. More than the average size of the predicate, however, one could not give the sweetly slept scarf and the zander fillet. Even after dinner it took half an hour until the dishes were cleared and another quarter of an hour until finally someone came to the numbers. Very disappointing!
We are regular guests in this inn for many years and it is for us always a place of relaxation where we enjoy a great view and excellent cuisine. The service staff is always attentive and also in hectic times, like Sunday afternoons, you are kind and always served with open ear. In the afternoon after the hike a bread time or a piece of excellent, self-baked cake you must have tasted it. We like to come back and again!
