"Rooms are really good, besides the black mould all over the bathroom ceiling and the thick dust sitting on the aircon vents, I'm convinced this has made me I'll, due to the vent right next to my head. Other than the health issues mentioned above the hostel was nice, good rooftop bar, ashamed it closed at 10pm. Cafe was a good chill out spot. Location could have been better, not near any of the major attractions."

Sachant que j'ai payé 50€/nuit pour un dortoir de 10 lits, j'aurais attendu plus. Salle de bagages qui nécessite le paiement des clients d'ici l'heure dans les casiers. La pièce sentait la fumée de cigarette et était désagréable. Aucun espace commun. Des bars surpris et une mauvaise ambiance. Pas de nourriture extérieure, donc ils peuvent vous facturer encore plus ? Douche avec moule noire dans tous les coins et ventilateur cassé. Distributeurs de savon vides et cassés dans la douche et l'évier. Rien d'autre qu'un exercice de faire de l'argent, plus concentré sur la monétisation de votre visite que l'hygiène de base et l'expérience des visiteurs. Prenez vos affaires ailleurs à Paris ce n'est pas là que vous voulez rester.
We had a great stay at the Generator Hostel! One of the best parts of the hostel were that it had air conditioning within the rooms that could be changed, which was incredible considering the weather outside! The rooms were also very nice and clean when we first got there. The bathroom and shower are two separate rooms and the sink is near the entrance of the room as well so multiple things can be happening at once. The rest of the building is nice as well, and the building has 4 elevators, which makes moving luggage so much easier. There is also a café by the entrance with good food. Overall , this was a great hostel experience and I would highly recommend it!
There were enough things I didn't enjoy about this hostel that I would've given a three star rating if it weren't for the great people at the front desk, especially Sophie. In everything, she was a pleasure to deal with. However, the room was pretty dirty and there were several food items which had been sitting around since before anyone currently in the room arrived. The common bathrooms on each floor also smelled rank, with most of the stalls being locked for some reason (no one was inside).
J'ai vraiment apprécié mon séjour à Paris. L'emplacement était vraiment bon. Le métro est juste devant l'auberge. J'ai vu un beau coucher de soleil sur le toit. Le personnel de la réception était incroyablement amical, spécialement Sophie. Elle a pris le temps de répondre à toutes mes questions avec un grand sourire. Les chambres sont très spécieuses et très propres. Le personnel de nettoyage était très amical aussi. Je recommande vraiment cet endroit pendant que tu es à Paris.
