Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while so we took a drive to the hills on the weekend. Disappointing is not a strong enough word to describe the food and the menu. The menu is just so limited and the food on offer just so humdrum and was something which could easily be at home in the 1970's. I had the 'bruschetta' which was easily the worst bruschetta I've ever attempted to eat in my life. Gave most of it to my husband as he will eat anything. The bread was some kind of wholemeal bread, un toasted, so quite soggy. One piece was spread with hommus, another with olive tapenade and a third piece with tomato which had been tossed in olive oil and dried herbs (cold uncooked tomatoes...

My husband and myself have been wanting to try this cafe for sometime. We did so for lunch recently. The location is lovely and the atmosphere as we approached was promising, we found ourselves a table and perused the what I think is a small menu but if done well can be perfect. My husband ordered the vege burger and sweet potato fries and I had the eggplant rolls with Napoli sauce. I was expecting something special, I personally found the meal bland and was not quite sure if it was meant to be served not even Luke warm, blah. Not for me.food imo should be either hot or cold. My husband rated his burger ok. The coffee on the other hand was great, pricing not so and service needs some work. I...

My partner thought he would introduce me to this establishment as the reviews were good. Originally going for lunch however, after looking at the menu had to change to a hot drink and a cake. Lets start with the cake, tasteless small piece didn't taste like the description at all. I ordered a Belgium hot chocolate to go with the cake, wow you got to be kidding to serve that, the WORST hot chocolate I have ever tasted !! No chocolate taste what so ever, if I wanted a glass off milk I would have ordered it. Would also have been great if you had served the 2 together. You would have noticed that I left that hot chocolate as it was undrinkable. Very disappointed and had to go somewhere else afte...

I've been to this lovely location quite a few times. I have only just revisited recently since it changed hands and admit that I was a little reluctant to go back since I was sure the food just wouldn't be the same great quality and freshness. I was very wrong. To begin with I found the waitress to be very friendly and professional. She helped me make my choice since I wasn't sure what I wanted. I ordered the pasta salad and it was thoroughly delicious, in fact I nearly ate the plate! My advice to anyone wondering whether or not to give this place a try, don't hesitate. I have never been disappointed with anything I have eaten here or with the service they offered on each occasion. Réservez une table maintenant

We saw this place on the road on a previous visit to Araluen and returned this way to check it out. It's located half way along the road down the Croyden Road entrance to Araluen and is accessed through a semi-steep driveway with a small carpark to the left. We came here for a late lunch and had the specials on offer, spaghetti mushroom bolognese, roast vegetable soup with sour dough bread and chia and white chocolate cake. Reasonable fare but next time I would try the menu items as judging by the pictures on here they look great. Friendly staff, blankets to keep you warm in the outdoor seats and a lovely shaded outdoor area make it a great place to visit.

Driving to Roleystone was an adventure in itself because none of us live nearby the area.
