"Expensive, few meal choices, lack of ambience, wouldn’t go back."
We were quite disappointed with our recent dining experience here. Upon arrival, we were presented only with a wine menu for our drinks, which made it frustrating to order. We started with squid, which was pleasant, but then we had the roast beef, which was served cold and in small portions—just two slices of beef, half a carrot, two potatoes, two parsnips, and a Yorkshire pudding. The cauliflower cheese we ordered didn’t arrive for another seven minutes, and the cabbage was undercooked. Given that we spent £80 on the meal, we felt let down and will not be returning.
We had a superb Sunday roast lunch on the View terrace looking out over the picturesque golf course. The service was very friendly and personal and the food was superb. It is not often that I seek out the kitchen staff, but on this occasion I really felt I owed them a face to face “thank you”. Both the lamb and the beef were second to none and the excellent supporting vegetables were perfectly prepared. The desserts were equally well prepared and presented. Well done one and all we shall be back!
The service was somewhat slow, especially considering the restaurant wasn't too busy. However, it's possible that there was a wedding happening elsewhere. On the bright side, the views of the golf course were absolutely lovely.
The quality of the food was good, but the portion sizes were disappointing, making it feel overpriced. Initially, our view was of a construction site, but we were moved to a different table upon request.

Disappointed with no beds in pool area and the fantastic views but swimming looking at fence hot tub wasn’t working so was disappointed with this as it was one key point of booking
Had Sunday lunch, very quiet so no atmosphere. Roast Beef was okay but one dessert was not as described so didn't pay although a female Manager argued the point. Will not return
Lovely pre wedding meal with the family. It was a quiet Thursday night but we were well looked after and food was excellent
Delicious Father’s Day meal. Fish beautifully cooked and those having roasts really enjoyed theirs too.
