Took wife and son out for dinner, was recommended to try Georges Greek Tavern, from the minute we walked in the service was 5 star, they even made sure our 18month old had a high chair, from the 1st course to the 5th course my tastebuds and mouth were having one big party, my wife and i struggled to fit it all in as the servings were big hot and meat was very tender. even our son loved the food and couldnt believe my eyes he ate everything we gave him he was enjoying it so much. the food was exactly like my grandma and mum would make it and excieted to see this tavern has kept the tradition on how greek food should be made with fresh ingrediants.Cant fault Georges Tavern and if the score was...
We decided to go Greek tonight and this is where we go locally. Service is excellent, ambience fine and she who must be obeyed in her natural habitat with her love of fish. We enjoyed a platter of sardines, one of my favourites, calamari, fish, oysters, scallops, prawns and muscles. No chips, phew. Just as excellent Greek Salad. Highly Recommended for the Caulfield, Malvern, and Elsternwick area.
Attended Georges Tavern last week with friends for dinner,we orderd individual dishes for main meals and other starter dishes,the dips were soooo tasty we asked for more,their main dishes were just divine.!!! Loved the signiture dishes...!!!Great atmosphere,Very friendly Staff and Managment ,thank you for a wonderful evening,will attend again cheers...:)
Recently went for dinner at Georges Greek Tavern with family and relatives. The food was fantastic and the service was great. Everyone enjoyed their meals and some very nice red wine that was recommended by the waitress. It was nice to see traditional greek food available as well.Will definitely eat at this restaurantagain highly recommend.

Went there for my birthday with family. We had the meat platter and seafood platter. Good selection and quantity of both. Enjoyed the food although some of the meat was a tad salty. Try and sit near the fireplace during winter. We've been before and we'll come again.
We came here on a Saturday night and the restaurant was buzzing. The food was good, and we didn't expect the dips to come with a whole loaf of bread!

Food was very oily and the gryos was very bland. Even the icecream was expensive and unimaginative. Very disappointed
