Dropped by the Georgian Restaurant on a weekday for high tea with a friend's bachelorette party and was swept off my feet by this charming place! We had reservations and were seated right on time without any delays. Initially, it felt a bit awkward since the atmosphere inside the restaurant was quiet and classic and we were definitely a vocal group of girls, but we were seated in a separate back area where we were able to converse without feeling too self conscious. The interior of the Georgian is gorgeous and definitely has a feeling of wonder it's the place to go if you want to be transported out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Our tea sets were made to fit any dietary restrictions v...

I had high expectations for afternoon tea here and I finally made plans with a girlfriend for this Sunday. I easily made a reservation a few weeks ahead on Open Table for 12:15pm. The restaurant is gorgeous with the huge windows and large chandeliers. I love the French feel of the decor. We were seated at a table for two with a love seat that was really cute. We had the earl grey tea and Ontario ice wine tea, which were both delicious and very different. I also enjoyed all the pastries and tea sandwiches, especially the vanilla panna cotta with berries, the scones and the strawberry cream puff. My only complaint would be the service. For a luxury price tag (almost $70 including tax and tip),...
I made a reservation for 10:30... with the desire of coming for tea time but on weekends they only do tea time starting at NOON! The restaurant is super cute though, inside of the hotel. TBH I 'm not sure if a reservation was necessary because even on a Saturday from 10:30-12, there were tons of available tables so it seems like you may just walk right in for breakfast and still be seated right away. Service was okay. The breakfast was mediocre... a very small menu of overpriced breakfast items to choose from or you can select the breakfast buffet option(s) which wasn 't too special either. The buffet just had the regular pastries, hot foods and fruit which you would see at a less high end h...
I organized an afternoon tea with some friends. The teas were good and there was a large selection. The food was also good and plenty for a meal. If you've never done an afternoon tea before, this is a good one to try out. There's an option to add champagne to your tea service as well for additional cost. It was $55 per person for the tea service, $85pp for champagne added. Atmosphere is great. I would have given the Afternoon Tea here 5 stars except for the way our server treated us at the end of the tea service. He berated us for not understanding that they don't take multiple cards for parties of 6 or larger and didn't even bother bringing the checks back to us after we paid (he had someo... My lovely husband took me to The Georgian for high tea the past Sunday afternoon and we had a wonderful experience. This place is inside THE historical posh hotel in Seattle, so of course it's beautiful and elegant. I also love their seatings for couples, it's a love seat and you get to sit side by side with your other half. As for the food, everything was pretty good. From the first seasonal berry course to the last desert bite. We especially love the warm scones. They are so delicious. The pricing is 49 dollars a person, I feel this is pretty reasonable in expensive DT Seattle. It's less that what they charge in the fancy places in Vancouver BC.
We went to holiday tea here and it was amazing. The food was delicious and the staff was kind and helpful. Our waiter asked us if we had any allergies, and I told him I was lactose intolerant, he gave me an entire dairy/lactose free plate! The building was absolutely gorgeous and it reminded me of being in an old mansion. Since it was the holidays there was a giant Christmas tree and gingerbread village. Will definitely come back next year.
I can't even begin to express how much 8 enjoyed coming here for afternoon tea. Staff was fantastic, food was amazing and the ambience was breath taking. Also if your gluten free, this afternoon tea will not disappoint like so many other places do. This far exceeds my experience at the Fairmont in Vancouver BC. I definitely plan on returning and bringing friends.
Outstanding experience of ambiance and food. Sitting with in an atmosphere of elegance makes you feel special. The food courses each exquisit and the attention to the details were second to none. The folks who served the meal provided elegance and class and the highest regard in providing outstanding service. It's worth every penny. Start saving them now. Réservez une table maintenant
My whole family (ages 6 months to 65 yrs) had a lovely time at afternoon tea here. Fancy table setting, delicious finger sandwiches and desserts, amazing Bella Cooley tea. Service was fabulous. Everyone was very polite and attentive. It's an expensive outing, but was worth it. They even have a kids menu. And a champagne option.
