It’s a nice, central location for outdoor dining. However, I would recommend avoiding the fresh items on the menu and sticking to options like pancakes and omelettes. The pancakes I ordered with mixed berries were entirely covered in a thick, gray substance, and the strawberries were mushy. While I received an apology and a few edible pancakes, I didn’t ask for a refund. Still, the experience has made me hesitant to order a salad, as I'm unsure about their ingredients. This is a fantastic and classic brunch spot in Northbrook that I've been visiting for the past 15 years. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is consistently excellent. Personally, I'm a big fan of their offerings! The prices are quite reasonable as well. I've never had a bad experience with the staff or the food! I particularly enjoyed the chic and beautiful challah French toast that my friend ordered!
I’ve been coming here for five years, probably over 100 times, as my wife and I visit most weekends. We’ve never had a negative experience. The food is fantastic, and the service is outstanding. The owner always makes us feel like VIPs whenever we walk in. It may sound strange, but this is our favorite restaurant. We’ve created wonderful memories and a sense of community here.
