This place knows how to fry some fish and fry it good, well seasoned crispy outside warm flaky inside as it should be. Good variety on the menu with the fish options and the sides., The sides are good! The ladies at the front are nice and real as it gets, lol. One thing I really like is they don't charge extra for extras unlike some places. So if I ask for extra pickle or hot sauce or ketchup..no problem.Only two grips is sometimes they don't have the sides available that they advertise on the menu. One time they ran out of Jacket Fries and it was still a few hours before closing. Another time I had a taste for greens and they just didn't have them that day, because they didn't make them.The...

This is the kind of place that I will go out of my way for and spend a little bit more to support.If you are looking for good, fresh, consistent great tastings fried seafood; THIS IS THE PLACE!It's a little small establishment on the North O side of town. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly and very welcoming. I love supporting small businesses and this will be one that I have on my frequently visited list.They have plenty of seafood with very nice portions sizes, great flavor and it is cooked to order, so it will be HOT and fresh. It was terrible, the two time I visit that place it was bad. First time the order was wrong and I was told by the owner he don't do refunds. Ok so 2 years later or so I went back the second time, II order double carp sandwich rib and when I got home that fish was all black inside the whole fish. I Immediately went back and said what is this? He said that it was OK that's just the BLOOD in the fish.... I said it look like road kill , he kinda hesitate on doing it over for me. But he did! So I thought when you return an order you throw it away! and start over this man gave me back the same container. I've been in food service since 98. Customer service was good and understanding. Owner wasn't....

Decent place to get fried catfish. I got the catfish strips which came with 2 sides. I chose jalapeño poppers with fries. The fries were sliced potatoes which I like. Atmosphere is friendly. Just expect a wait of about 30 minutes since this is made to order.Food: 4/5
