We have been to Gianmarcos numerous times over the years and they continue to be one of the top Italian restaurants in the Birmingham area consistently delivering top quality fresh entrees and appetizers. The two brothers have brought the real deal Italian from NY city I believe. What you need to know. Make reservations. There's a wine bar behind the restaurant that you might be able to slip in at 5pm. Enjoy this place, fabulous service and it doesn't seem to matter what
Exclusive little restaurant in quite neighborhood. Crowded for a Monday night dinner. This is by means not a quiet place, pretty loud atmosphere (extremely loud table next to us, literally ears were hurting). Street side parking is free. On-site valet parking available. Food was decent, Penne Vodka is spot on. Eggplant permesan, and Ricotta Mozzarella Ravioli are decent. Fiocchi was OK, didn't quite like it. I would say 3.5 ???? We had better experience @Amore
What a wonderful experience! Logan, our waiter, was fantastic. He made the night special and clearly loves what he does. The lasagna and chicken parmesan were perfect ?comfort food?. Paired with the an excellent wine and finished with the dessert special, the dining experience was amazing. Call ahead and secure a reservation, if you want to have any hope of enjoying the same.
4-5 years ago I gave 4 stars because the dining room was loud, packed in, and chaotic. Post covid it's brighter, more spread out, and much more comfortable and pleasant dining experience. It's a totally different (better) experience. The burrata and Chicken Parm were fantastic. Service was great. Would definitely go back Réservez une table maintenant
An absolutely wonderful experience. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was better than any Italian food my fiancé and I have had. It was her birthday and it was perfect. We will be back for many more birthdays and anniversaries.
Beautiful and quaint! Nice to see people dress for dinner. Service awesome and food amazing. Smells so delicious . We did curb side service but would really love to come back for full experience. Valet parking available, catering too.
The best steak, brussel sprouts macaroni cheese ever! I never eat macaroni cheese out anywhere and there’s is awesome!!! Their fiocchi is great also!
Our waiter, Kevin, was awesome. He recommended the rack of lamb. Wow! Best lamb I have ever had. Party of six and we all loved our meals! Réservez une table maintenant
It was too loud, we absolutely couldn't carry on a conversation. The kind of loud that makes you want to leave, a shame.
